Holiday Fair Postcard

I had the honor of designing the 2018 Holiday Fair postcard for New York City's calligraphy guild Society of Scribes. I wanted to craft something that would appeal to both the senior members of the guild as well as new and younger members, and also maintain a hand-made feel (despite being scanned and printed as a mailer!).

It was also important to me to feel festive and fun! I drew the entire scene using calligraphy strokes, combining both pointed pen (for the ornaments) with broad-edge (in the words).
